Theodore Hill |
Theodore Hill studies composition and also the recorder at the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music. He also plays the piano and the cello. He won the Marlow Music Festival junior composition cup in 2005, and the High Wycombe Music Centre cup for most promising composer in 2007. In 2008 he won a Hedy King Robinson award for his high marks in Grade 7 theory. In 2009, he performed three of his piano miniatures at Blüthners Piano Showroom in a concert organised by the Royal College of Music to celebrate Haydn and young composers. Theodore is currently composing a piano trio and short pieces for the piano. His compositions are in a harmonic and modernistic classical style. |
