REMARKABLE AND CURIOUS CONVERSATIONS

I've had many remarkable and curious conversations in the twenty odd years I've practised as an art psychotherapist. But now my attention has shifted to my work as an artist.

I had four years at Reading University, back in the 70's, in the painting and time based studios. Primarily a painter, I've now abandoned "anachronistic daubings on woven fabric" and am currently interested in filming autobiographical dance ( for an example of this, click here for Dance 1 by Bruce Taylor Currie)

I've collaborated with the performance artist Philip Lee and perhaps for future projects I can offer other participants in this project conversations around the psychological nature of their work. Drawing on my experience as an art therapist I would be interested in helping people explore their internal motivations.

For my own work.. Have you danced 5 Rhythms? Would you be interested in supporting a film piece attempting to capture something of this experience? I live in Brixton, South London and I am happy to travel.
